Job summary

University Health Palo Alto Hospital is seeking an Executive Director to lead the Intensive Care Unit and Medical Surgical Unit. The role oversees nursing practice, quality initiatives, and operational performance for 120 beds in a growing campus with a 24/7 environment.

You will drive patient care excellence, participate in regional and national nursing leadership, and align nursing services with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing and Texas RN licensure (current).
• Master’s degree or enrollment in a master’s program.
• National certification in a related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains management responsibility for clinical practice of nursing across ICU and MSU units.
• Manages programs and runs monthly Quality Assurance and Process Improvement (QAPI).
• Participates in regional and national management organizations to keep informed on patient care issues.
