Job summary

Hospitality Employees Advancement and Training (HEAT), Inc. in Miami seeks an Executive Director to guide mission-driven growth, programs, and partnerships within the hospitality workforce development sector.

You will lead day-to-day operations, collaborate with a Board, and steward employer and union relationships while ensuring program excellence and organizational sustainability.

The role offers a full-time on-site position in Miami with competitive nonprofit compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Six+ years of experience in organizational leadership in workforce development or related field.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to build relationships with a wide array of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day operations and executive leadership of HEAT.
• Develop goals, budgets, policies, and processes to support the mission.
• Advise Board and maintain ongoing governance and strategic direction.
• Represent HEAT in community, state, and federal collaborations and funders.
• Oversee program development, training, and partnerships with employers.
