Job summary

The Executive Director, Business Development at Labcorp leads strategic growth in the NY Metro, Upstate NY and New England markets. This field-based role requires building high-level partnerships with academic hospitals and health systems, negotiating large deals and delivering executive-level presentations.

You will travel up to 25%, leverage Salesforce and analytics, and report to the Northeast Diagnostics Sales Division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 8+ years in executive healthcare selling.
• Master's degree preferred; 5+ years in diagnostic lab industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct executive-level sales responsibility for academic hospitals and health systems.
• Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve growth.
• Negotiate and close major hospital and health system contracts.
• Forecast sales using data and market research to set performance goals.
• Build trust-based, strategic partnerships with C-suite and medical leadership.
