Job summary

The University of Houston's Bauer College seeks an Executive Director for Executive Education to lead strategic planning and executive management of non-degree programs in Houston, nationally, and globally.

Responsibilities include developing bespoke programs, collaborating with Career Services and Corporate Partnerships, designing open enrollment offerings, negotiating pricing, and ensuring program delivery across on-site, off-site, hybrid and remote formats.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of directly job-related professional experience.
• Education: Master’s degree or equivalent; advanced leadership credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops strategic plans and markets executive education programs.
• Collaborates with leadership across Bauer College units to maximize opportunities and partnerships.
• Creates bespoke executive education offerings and negotiates pricing and contracts.
• Coordinates with academic chairs to tailor curriculum and source instructors for corporate clients.
• Designs and delivers open enrollment programs in consultation with Bauer faculty for various industries.
• Ensures program delivery across on-site, off-site, hybrid and remote modalities.
• Supervises staff responsible for logistics, operations and client, faculty and student support.
• Builds relationships with large organizations to position the College as the provider of choice for executive education.
• Leverages non-degree programs as a pipeline to degree programs offered by the College.
• Represents the College of Business and University of Houston at internal and external events.
