Job summary

The University of Houston seeks a senior leader in the Institute GlobalEngagement to direct departmental operations, budgets, and strategic growth. You will oversee learning abroad staff, manage affiliations and contracts, and coordinate program assessment across semesters.

Ideal candidates bring a four-year degree (or higher) and at least five years of relevant experience; a Master's degree and multilingual capabilities are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires a four-year degree or higher.
• Minimum five (5) years of directly job-related experience.
• Education may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs departmental operations and budgets, strategic planning and growth, policy and procedure development.
• Oversees learning abroad staff, student workers, and operations; manages contracts and affiliations.
• Coordinates assessment for learning abroad programs each semester and utilizes Terra Dotta for traveler management.
• Oversees scholarship administration and international partnership recruitment efforts.
• Represents the Institute for Global Engagement at campus-wide and external events.
