Job summary

Dendreon Pharmaceuticals LLC seeks an Executive Director, Business Development & Corporate Strategy to shape external growth strategy and lead high-stakes transactions. You will partner with the CEO and senior leaders to evaluate, negotiate, and close strategic licenses, acquisitions, and alliances, including CDMO partnerships.

You will translate corporate goals into actionable plans, oversee cross-functional diligence, and guide teams through deals with late-stage assets and complex modalities,

Qualifications

• 12-15+ years in business development, corporate development, or strategy in biotech/pharma.
• Proven success originating, negotiating, and closing complex transactions.
• Advanced degree required: MBA, PhD, MD, or equivalent.
• Experience with late-stage assets and strategic partnerships.
• Willingness to travel 50%+ including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise-wide BD and corporate strategy agenda aligned with long-range growth.
• Advise CEO and senior leadership with strategic recommendations and investment rationales.
• Lead diligence across licensing, acquisitions, investments, and alliances.
• Build relationships with biotech/pharma companies, investors, and external partners.
• Represent Dendreon in high-level client discussions, conferences, and forums.
