Job summary

NCSEA seeks an Executive Director to lead the association on behalf of the NCSEA Board, advancing its mission, strategic plan, and member value. As the NCSEA chief staff executive within MCI USA, you will oversee staff, governance, budgets, and partnerships, driving revenue growth and ensuring exemplary program delivery across national and policy initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive association management experience.
• Demonstrated progressive management experience in an association or non-profit organization.
• Ability to engage participation from all levels, and generate passion for the association’s work, both internally and externally.
• Association Management Company (AMC) experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops a resource development plan to generate funding.
• Oversees the Corporate Partner program and sponsorships.
• Networks with corporate partners and sponsors to expand revenue opportunities.
• Actively solicits new corporate partnerships aligned with NCSEA’s mission.
• Collaborates to strengthen value proposition for members and partners.
• Monitors day-to-day delivery of programs and services and maintains quality.
• Serves as chief staff executive with staff management responsibilities.
• Supports strategic planning and annual business planning and policy updates.
• Provides staff reports and data to the Board and committees as needed.
• Facilitates NCSEA's link with research to promote program goals.
• Liaises with external organizations and policy bodies.
• Oversees budget and financial reporting; coordinates financial management.
• Ensures contract stewardship and account health with MCI USA.
• Provides leadership and oversight of NCSEA-designated staff; fosters high-performing culture.
• Supports talent management with recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and development.
