Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources, LLC seeks an Executive Director to supervise the entire project lifecycle from planning and permitting to construction and readiness. You will drive strategic decisions, manage key stakeholders, and secure resources and approvals to deliver large-scale energy projects.

Ideal candidates bring extensive power generation development experience, energy regulation knowledge, and a track record of delivering complex projects through strong leadership of cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Requires leadership over full project lifecycle from planning to execution.
Experience with power plant development and energy regulations.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex contracts.

Responsibilities

Translate financial, commercial, risk, technical goals into contracting strategies.
Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Oversee cross-functional teams through negotiations and contracting.
Lead and influence senior management decisions during negotiations.
Develop contracts to position project execution for success.
Mentor and coach team members.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Oversee and guide project execution from planning to completion.
