Washington State Department of Health seeks a strategic Deputy Director for the Office of Enterprise Risk Management (OERM) within the CFRA. The role leads risk, compliance, and governance initiatives, partnering with program leaders to translate priorities into action.

This home-based position serves as a key thought partner to the Director and acts as the Director’s delegate when needed. Responsibilities include guiding operations, building partnerships, and strengthening systems, with a focus

Qualificações

• Advanced knowledge applying laws, regulations, and best practices in public disclosure, audit, civil rights or privacy compliance, or risk management.
• 5+ years of management- or oversight-level leadership experience across programs.
• Developing and implementing organization-wide policies and procedures.
• Leading initiatives involving organizational change or systems transformation.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Office Operations: provide strategic direction and coordinate diverse programs.
• Advance agency partnerships and cross-boundary collaboration to meet DOH needs.
• Navigate risk and compliance: guide staff on laws, policies and regulatory matters.
• Improve systems and processes: enhance coordination, efficiency and accountability.
• Lead people: supervise staff and foster engagement and development.
