Job summary

Nealy Pierce is engaged by a growing Midwest healthcare system to identify an Executive Director, Emergency Services (RN) who will lead Emergency Services for the market across three hospitals, including a Level I trauma center. This role reports directly to a transformational Chief Nursing Officer.

The successful candidate will build relationships between EDs, physicians and inpatient units, mentor managers, and standardize quality and patient experience across three sites while overseeing

Qualifications

• Active RN license and Master’s degree required.
• At least five years of ED nursing leadership in an acute care hospital.
• Level I trauma emergency experience required; multi-hospital leadership preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop leaders and improve ED performance.

Responsibilities

• Build stronger relationships between the EDs, physicians and inpatient units.
• Mentor clinical managers and supervisors.
• Bring consistent expectations to quality and patient experience across 3 distinct sites.
• Remain present with frontline teams while setting strategy for approximately 125k+ annual ED visits.

Nealy Pierce has been engaged exclusively by a growing, non profit regional Midwest healthcare system to identify an experienced Executive Director, Emergency Services (RN). The position will lead Emergency Services for the market - serving 3 hospitals including a level I trauma center and two community hospitals. The position reports directly to a transformational and supportive Chief Nursing Officer.

• Bring consistent expectations to quality and patient experience across 3 distinct sites.
• Remain present with frontline teams while setting strategy for approximately 125k+ annual ED visits.

The market includes an adult Level I trauma center. This search calls for an executive nursing leader who can turn priorities into daily practice.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license and Master’s degree required
• At least five (5) years of ED nursing leadership in an acute care hospital
• Level I trauma emergency experience required; multi-hospital leadership preferred
• Demonstrated ability to develop leaders and improve ED performance

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary up to $210k annually (depending on experience)
• Annual bonus incentive eligible
