Job summary

The Allentown School District Foundation (ASDF) seeks an Executive Director to lead the foundation's mission, manage operations, and engage donors in Allentown.

The successful candidate will oversee budgeting, grant writing, public relations, and fundraising events, work with ASD leaders and the board, and expand opportunities for students in our urban district. This full-time role is based at the ASD Administration Center and requires a strong commitment to education equity.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as director of a nonprofit or senior leadership role in education or community relations.
• Experience with financial oversight and budgeting.
• Experience with fundraising, grant writing, public relations and events.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Oversee foundation operations and general management.
• Develop donor relationships and fundraising strategies.
• Coordinate grants, EITC donations, and endowment efforts.
• Prepare annual budgets and financial reports.
• Public relations and community outreach.
• Lead special events and communications.
