Responsibilities

• Market the County for business development opportunities and coordinate between cities, businesses, and the county.
• Provide technical assistance to local governments and businesses on financing, site options, grants, and lenders.
• Develop and maintain relationships with the County Board and municipalities to support economic development and housing.
• Administer SBDC assistance to small businesses and start-ups, including access to capital and loan packaging.
• Develop and implement Tax Increment Financing, Tax Abatement, and other tax incentive programs.
