Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a Director of Dialysis and Nephrology to provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership across the system's dialysis and nephrology services. This role drives growth, performance, and 24/7 operations, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with Mercyhealth's mission and values.

The position leads staff recruitment, coaching, and performance, while ensuring compliance, quality outcomes, and collaboration with the care delivery team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required.
• Minimum of 2 years dialysis experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible nursing leadership experience.
• Active nursing license in each state Mercyhealth serves.
• Certification in a specialty is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of all dialysis units and nephrology clinics system wide.
• Lead recruitment, development, coaching, and performance management of staff.
• Ensure compliance with QA/PI requirements and regulatory standards.
• Manage budgets and drive cost savings while meeting productivity targets.
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and patient-centered care.
