Job summary

University Health is seeking an Executive Director of Dialysis Services to oversee the administration and clinical direction of all dialysis programs within the health system, including renal clinics, inpatient/outpatient dialysis, home dialysis, and jail dialysis services.

You will work with Medical Directors to plan, organize, and grow dialysis services while ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred.
• Experience: at least 3 years in dialysis leadership or supervision; multi-site operations experience is highly preferred.
• Certifications: RN license (Texas), BLS Healthcare Provider or Instructor.
• Skills: strong leadership, excellent communication; bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care across dialysis sites ensuring high-quality, compliant services.
• Supervise and mentor clinical and support staff; lead staff development and recruitment.
• Manage operational and capital budgets to meet organizational goals.
• Develop and update clinical and administrative policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Act as liaison with the community and represent dialysis services in professional/public forums.
