Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Executive Director of Data Engineering to lead the analytics engineering organization. You will define the data engineering strategy for enterprise data platforms and AI products, and drive modernization and reliability across Retail analytics initiatives.

You will collaborate with Data Science, Product, Analytics and business teams to deliver scalable, cloud-based data solutions that enable advanced analytics and AI-driven decision making at scale.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in Data/Analytics/Software engineering
• 7+ years leading large engineering orgs
• Experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms and cloud-native solutions
• Expertise in modern data engineering, data pipelines, distributed processing and governance
• Proven ability to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions
• Experience driving large transformation and platform modernization
• Strong execution, roadmap development and operational management
• Proven BI and data-driven decision making with executive influence
• Demonstrated leadership, collaboration and growth mindset

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the data engineering strategy for CVS Health's Retail analytics ecosystem
• Lead a large multi-disciplinary engineering org focused on data platforms, AI products, and engineering capabilities
• Partner with Analytics, Data Science, Product and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions
