Job summary

Stratasight, Minnesota’s independent, nonpartisan hub for workforce data, seeks an Executive Director to lead the organization’s next chapter. Reporting to the Board, you will guide strategy, staffing, funding, partnerships, and data initiatives with transparency and impact.

You will engage employers, educators, and policymakers, shaping a trusted voice in workforce insights, advancing equity, and sustaining growth in a changing job market.

Qualifications

• Executive-level leadership experience in a mission-driven organization.
• Experience across public, private, philanthropic, education, and workforce sectors.
• Fundraising experience with philanthropic and public funders.
• Familiarity with labor market dynamics, workforce and economic development.
• Strong executive presence, exceptional communication skills, cross-cultural awareness.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a multi-year strategy that strengthens alignment between Minnesota’s talent supply and employer demand.
• Build and lead Stratasight, including staffing, structure, funding, partnerships, metrics, and operational execution.
• Own Stratasight’s data strategy, tools, training, and technical support, leveraging AI and analytics to expand impact.
• Grow relationships with employers and industry partners while supporting education, workforce, funder, and policy audiences with practical, nonpartisan insight.
• Serve as Stratasight’s primary public voice and thought leader, communicating the organization’s mission statewide.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Advanced degree (preferred)
