Job summary

Stratasight, Minnesota’s independent, nonpartisan hub for workforce data, seeks its next Executive Director. Reporting to the Board, this role leads a small team and a $1M budget, guiding strategy, operations, and external engagement to advance human-centered, equitable workforce outcomes.

Ideal candidates have executive leadership across sectors, fundraising experience, and fluency in data-informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Advanced degree and credentials preferred.
• Experience leading a small team in a nonprofit/government or cross-sector setting.
• Familiarity with labor market data and workforce development.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Board to define and execute a multi-year strategy aligning talent supply with employer demand.
• Build and lead the organization, including staffing, funding, partnerships, metrics, and operations.
• Own Stratasight’s data strategy, tools, training, and support; use AI/analytics to expand impact.
• Grow relationships with employers and partners while informing education, funders, and policy.
• Serve as Stratasight’s public voice and thought leader, advancing the mission statewide.
