Job summary

STACK INFRASTRUCTURE in Shreveport, LA seeks a Director of Construction to lead large-scale data center projects, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and budget discipline. You will guide cross-functional teams and manage risk, reporting to the SVP of Construction.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of program management on ground-up data centers, strong client and vendor relationships, and deep knowledge of construction controls, schedules, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction management experience on large-scale data centers or similar fast-track projects.
• Proven success in ground-up, core and shell, utility, sitework, and fit-out projects ($500M+).
• Strong client-facing experience with ability to influence outcomes and build relationships.
• Deep knowledge of construction management tools: contracts, schedules, budgets, payments, risk management.
• Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, and BIM platforms (preferred).
• Excellent financial acumen with cost controls and reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage construction projects across the region, ensuring budgets, schedules, quality, and safety.
• Act as primary liaison with general contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Review, track, and forecast budgets, cost reports, and schedules; identify risks and mitigations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop regional project management staff.
• Collaborate with cross-functional STACK teams to ensure alignment and delivery excellence.
• Identify and resolve project challenges to maintain delivery commitments.
• Prepare and present reports and analyses for senior leadership and clients.
