Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Director/Executive Director Data Management Architecture to lead the architectural vision for a critical employee data platform within the Employee Platforms team. You will shape how employee data is ingested, refined, and served at scale, mentoring a team of architects and engineers.

You will define target architecture, establish modular reference patterns, and partner with governance and data product stakeholders to ensure high-quality, secure, compliant data

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on data architecture concepts.
• 10+ years applied experience in data architecture.
• 5+ years leading technologists within your domain.

Responsibilities

• Define target-state architecture for employee data ingestion, refinement, storage, and access.
• Establish architectural principles and reference patterns for modularity and evolvability.
• Design ingestion and integration patterns for batch and streaming sources; ensure reliability and scalability.
• Lead data modeling across key employee data domains and define metadata standards.
• Define controls for data quality, lineage, and platform monitoring; support runbooks.
