Job summary

Cornell University Library seeks a senior leader to drive strategic initiatives and program development across the library and partner units in New York. You will oversee budgeting, risk management, and fundraising efforts, while building strong collaborations with campus leadership, boards, funders, and public partners.

Responsibilities include strategic planning with the Board, staff supervision, and ensuring compliance with institutional policies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with at least six years of related professional experience.
• Leadership experience of four or more years in a leadership role.
• Experience in Cornell Cooperative Extension, public or nonprofit leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and long-range planning with the Board and staff.
• Oversee budgeting, financial oversight, and grant management.
• Develop partnerships with boards, government officials, and funders.
• Manage risk, compliance, and emergency preparedness.
• Lead staff development and performance evaluation.
