Job summary

Native American Bank is seeking an Executive Director to oversee the National Native Community Fund (NNCF), guiding strategy, governance, fundraising, and operations in collaboration with NAB staff and the NNCF Board.

The role drives long-term sustainability, builds partnerships with Tribal communities and funders, and leads program development, budgeting, and reporting to advance the mission of expanding access to capital in Indian Country.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• 5–7 years of leadership experience in nonprofit management or related field.
• Experience with fundraising, grant writing, donor relations, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience with budgets, financial reporting, and nonprofit financial operations.
• Experience working with a Board of Directors and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and direction for NNCF to achieve mission and strategic goals.
• Oversees day-to-day operations and ensures alignment with organizational goals.
• Leads strategic planning and initiatives for growth and sustainability.
• Manages programs, processes, technology, and reporting for efficiency.
• Develops and manages annual operating budget and monitors financial performance.
• Partners with the Board to report performance, finances, and priorities.
• Leads fundraising, donor relations, grant identification, and reporting.
