Job summary

CVS Health, through its Aetna health benefits unit, seeks an Executive Director, Clinical Strategy and Operations to translate enterprise direction into priorities and measurable results. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership in strategy, operations, or related fields.
• Proven success translating strategy into multi-year operating plans and roadmaps.
• Experience establishing governance, reviews, performance management and decisions.
• Strong portfolio management, metrics, risk and dependency handling.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and drive cross-functional initiatives.
• Executive communication and analytical skills to synthesize complex data.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual and multi-year strategic and operating planning aligned with priorities and resources.
• Design governance forums, operating reviews, and decision processes with clear ownership.
• Integrate roadmaps, performance measures, risks, and dependencies; drive corrective actions.
• Define SOPM tooling strategy and drive adoption of standardized workflows.
• Develop executive briefings and leadership agendas focusing on priorities and decisions.
• Lead relationship management with cross-functional partners and executive stakeholders.
• Oversee high-priority cross-functional initiatives and resolve ownership gaps.
• Guide SOPM change management and communications to align with priorities.
• Lead a team of six, including workforce planning and capability development.
