Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida seeks an Assistant Chief Medical Officer of Clinical Services (ACMO) to lead the Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) program and physician documentation initiatives, driving value, operational excellence, and high-quality outcomes across the system.

In collaboration with Utilization Management, Hospitalist Medicine, and Care Management, the ACMO will set goals, standardize processes, develop leaders, and foster a culture aligned with AdventHealth's mission and service

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification or eligibility.
• Experience as physician advisor and CDI in a large health system.
• Strong business acumen and healthcare operations knowledge.
• Proven ability to influence executives and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent data analytics and dashboard development skills.
• Commitment to AdventHealth's mission and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Partner with C-suite and operational leaders to monitor performance and drive improvements.
• Lead development and standardization of system-wide processes and programs.
• Support data-driven decisions with dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools.
• Participate in system-wide initiatives and workgroups to drive performance improvements.
• Collaborate with executive councils to align initiatives with goals.
• Ensure departments deliver exceptional service and high customer satisfaction.
• Provide leadership to staff, ensuring staffing, training and best practices.
• Collaborate with Care Management and Utilization Management to optimize patient flow and outcomes.
