Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a senior Clinical Documentation Integrity leader to build partnerships with facility CDI groups and drive education programs across the system. You will develop and implement training to enhance documentation quality and compliance.

The role requires CCDS, RN/APP/CAPD credentials, and extensive acute care CDI leadership experience, with a strong focus on standardizing processes and improving system-wide CDI policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 2+ years in clinical documentation integrity in acute care.
• 3+ years of leadership experience including at least 1 year in CDI leadership.
• 5+ years of acute care experience.
• CCDS certification required; RN/APRN/PA/MD/DO/RN-APRN-MD/DO combination as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Builds partnerships with facility CDI groups to foster collaboration.
• Develops and delivers education programs to enhance CDI staff skills across the system.
• Coordinates with facility CDI groups to identify educational needs and gaps.
• Schedules and conducts training sessions, workshops, and webinars for CDI staff.
• Monitors effectiveness of education programs and changes; adjusts as needed.
