Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking an Assistant Chief Medical Officer of Clinical Services to provide strategic physician leadership for the CDI program and physician documentation initiatives across the system.

You will partner with executive leaders to drive performance improvement, standardize processes, and develop future leaders while aligning with the mission and values of the organization.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required and board certification (ABMS preferred).
• Experience as a physician advisor and CDI in a large health system.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities with a track record of change management.

Responsibilities

• Partner with C-suite to monitor performance and advance strategic priorities.
• Lead development and standardization of system-wide processes and best practices.
• Support data-driven decisions with dashboards, scorecards and reporting tools.
• Oversight of CDI leadership, physician teams, and engagement with campus leaders.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and optimal patient flow and outcomes.
