Ignite Utah Action, a civic nonprofit in the Salt Lake City metro, seeks an Executive Director to lead strategy, program development, and day-to-day operations. You will guide staff and volunteers, advance community organizing and voter registration, and build partnerships to strengthen impact.

The role includes leading fundraising efforts, including grants, donor relations, and events, while reporting to the board of directors.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams, programs and budgets.
• Background in civic engagement or advocacy and partnerships.
• Strong written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.
• Fundraising experience including donor relations and events.
• Strategic planning and organizational development.
• Ability to work in a hybrid Salt Lake City environment.
• Commitment to inclusive, nonpartisan youth-focused civic participation.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Responsabilités

• Oversee organizational strategy, program development and day-to-day operations.
• Manage staff and volunteers; guide community organizing and voter registration efforts.
• Lead fundraising activities, grants, donor relations and events.
• Manage budgets and reporting to the board of directors.
• Represent the organization at public events and media; foster an inclusive, collaborative culture.
