Job summary

Ignite Utah Action in Salt Lake City seeks an Executive Director to lead the organization through its next growth phase. You will oversee strategy, fundraising, and programming for Ignite! Utah Action and Civic Spark, while cultivating partnerships and a strong, values-driven team.

The role requires a founder-like ability to raise resources, manage a diverse program portfolio, and build trust with communities and donors across Utah. Hybrid work in Utah-based settings is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead Ignite! Utah’s strategy, annual planning, and program development for Ignite! Utah Action and Civic Spark.
• Raise and steward resources; build external partnerships with donors, funders, schools, and coalitions.
• Direct teams and contractors; set priorities, timelines, and accountability.
• Ensure financial health with budgeting, contracts, and grant reporting; oversee HR and governance in partnership with the board.
