Standard Chartered Bank is seeking an experienced Head of Audit to lead a team auditing Corporate & Investment Banking activities in the Americas. You will manage delivery quality, timelines, and budget while engaging with senior management and regulatory bodies.

The role emphasizes governance oversight, risk assessment, and continuous improvement across the audit function. The position requires deep knowledge of US banking regulations, strong leadership, and the ability to travel

Qualifications

• Experience as a career auditor or finance/risk professional with strong leadership.
• Knowledge of Corporate & Investment Banking and financial markets products.
• Familiarity with US banking regulations; regulatory exam experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit teams to deliver high-quality audits within budget and timelines.
• Present audits at governance forums and management meetings.
• Manage regulatory engagements and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Oversee audit issues tracking and resolution in line with GIA methodology.
• Provide guidance on business and technical knowledge to audit teams.
