Job summary

Standard Chartered in the Americas is seeking an experienced Group Internal Audit professional to lead audit teams over Corporate and Investment Banking operations. You will drive risk assessment, resource planning and effective delivery of audits across the region.

You will manage regulatory engagements, oversee audit planning, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality audits while upholding GIA standards and independence.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in internal/external audit.
• Experience with Corporate and Investment Banking.
• Familiarity with US banking regulations.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management.
• Professional certifications preferred (CIA, CPA, CAMS, CFE).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of audit professionals in delivering high-quality audits.
• Manage regulatory engagements and respond timely to inquiries.
• Oversee audit planning, issue tracking and reporting.
• Present audit findings to senior management and committees.
• Ensure audits are delivered within budget and timelines.
• Maintain independence and adherence to GIA standards.
