Job summary

Mercy seeks an Executive Director to provide strategic and operational leadership for the cardiovascular service line, including Echo, Cath Lab, EP Lab, Stress Testing, Cardiac Rehab, and the Cardiology Clinic.

The role leads clinical operations, financial performance, business planning, and capital and supply budgeting, while hiring and overseeing managers across all service areas and serving as a primary liaison to physicians and clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• RN licensure in the applicable state.
• Five (5) years of healthcare leadership experience; in lieu of degree, 10 years leadership experience.
• Operational leadership experience in a healthcare environment.
• Clinical background in procedural cardiovascular services preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for cardiovascular services.
• Oversee clinical operations, staffing, budgeting, and capital planning.
• Hire and supervise managers across Echo, Cath Lab, EP Lab, and Cardiology Clinic.
• Serve as liaison to physicians, clinical teams, and support departments.
• Drive growth, patient experience, quality, and operational excellence.
