Job summary

Mercy Fort Smith is seeking an executive leader to oversee the Cardiovascular Service Line across inpatient, outpatient, procedural, and physician practice settings.

This leader will drive strategic growth, operational excellence, financial performance, quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, and patient experience across the cardiovascular continuum, including Cardiac Rehab, Cath Lab, Cardiac Clinics, Cardiothoracic Surgery, and Vascular Surgery.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or related field.
• In lieu of master's, clinical degree with leadership experience considered (RN, Cath Lab tech, radiology, etc.).
• 3–5 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience.
• Experience leading cardiovascular service lines (rehab, cath lab, clinics, surgery).
• Experience partnering with physicians and executive leaders.

• Required
  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or related field required.
  • In lieu of a master's degree, candidates with a clinical degree/background and significant progressive leadership experience will be considered (examples include Registered Nurse (RN), Cardiovascular Technologist, Cath Lab Technologist, Radiologic Technologist, or other related clinical disciplines).
  • 3-5 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience.
  • Experience leading cardiovascular service lines that include one or more of the following: Cardiac Rehabilitation, Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac Specialty Clinics, Cardiothoracic Surgery, and Vascular Surgery.
  • Experience partnering effectively with physicians and executive leaders.
• Strongly Preferred
  • Leadership experience within a physician practice or ambulatory clinic setting.
  • Experience in cardiovascular service line compliance and regulatory requirements.
