Job summary

Paylocity, an award-winning cloud HR and payroll software provider, is seeking a Senior Director of Benefits Ops to lead Benefits Service, EDI and Implementation teams. You will drive strategy, ensure client perspectives are addressed, and be accountable for retention, profitability and customer satisfaction.

This in-office role based in Schaumburg, IL requires 10-15 years of senior leadership, book of business, and P&L ownership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 10-15 years of progressive senior leadership experience in payroll/benefits or B2B SaaS.
• Book of business ownership and P&L responsibility.
• Experience leading multi-site service, implementation or operations.
• Experience in a large scale, margin-focused B2B SaaS business.
• Strong data-driven decision making and financial acumen.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence C-level executives.
• Experience driving cross-functional process improvement and staff development.
• In-office role with up to 50% travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead Benefits Service, EDI and Implementation teams with accountability for retention and customer satisfaction.
• Set vision for process and quality improvement across employee and client experiences.
• Develop strategies to gather client feedback and align with business objectives.
• Improve efficiency and client experience; champion AI capabilities integration.
• Provide direction for a strategic client experience and streamlined interactions.
• Develop metrics reporting and present to stakeholders on service health and engagement.
• Plan staffing, budgets, and career-path development for evolving business needs.
• Collaborate with nearshore leadership to ensure performance and consistency across sites.
• Lead, coach, and develop management staff and attract new talent.
• Drive Voice of the Client with Product to influence new functionality and services.
