Job summary

Arcadia Care is seeking an Executive Director to lead and maintain the community’s high standards. The role focuses on excellent state surveys, safety, and strong relations with referral sources, while guiding the entire facility team according to policies and regulations.

Responsibilities include supervising tenant care, admissions, infection control, regulatory compliance, staff development, and ensuring a safe, clean environment with proper staffing and HR processes.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Ability to deal tactfully with residents, families, staff and regulators.
• Must ensure sanitation, safety and proper facility inspections.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all tenant care.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and inquiries.
• Work with Wellness Director/nursing staff on infection control.
• Oversee compliance with IDPH and other regulatory agencies.
• Oversee staff communication concerning tenant needs.
• Address hazardous conditions; initiate repairs as needed.
• Hire and train staff; maintain staffing records.
• Ensure appropriate staffing considering tenant acuity.
