VILLAGESCOOPER seeks an Executive Director to provide overall leadership and strategic direction for an assisted living community in Mount Pleasant, SC. You will oversee clinical services, administration, finance, compliance, and community relations, ensuring high-quality care and strong operational performance.
The role requires Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), ability to lead diverse teams, manage budgets, and engage with residents, families, and local healthcare partners.
The Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and strategic direction of the assisted living community. Joining a high-performing team, the ideal candidate will bring proven leadership and the ability to effectively oversee all aspects of operations, including clinical services, administration, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and community relations.
This position is responsible for managing and overseeing multiple levels of employees either directly or indirectly. Responsibilities may include, but not limited to, hiring, training, budgeting, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, resolving problems and terminations.
Must possess, as a minimum, a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university, or equivalent.
Master's Degree or MBA preferred.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and
respond to questions from managers and employees.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in the Microsoft Suite products.
Must maintain licensing credentials for an Executive Director.
