Job summary

Hayes Company seeks a Director of AI Strategy and Governance to lead enterprise AI strategy, governance, and a Center of Excellence. You will align AI initiatives with growth, operations, and risk goals, developing standards, guardrails, and executive-level dashboards.

You will collaborate with Legal, HR, Finance, and IT to ensure compliant AI use, prioritization, and value realization across warehousing, fulfillment, logistics, and corporate functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, IT, or analytics.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in technology strategy, AI, analytics, or operational excellence.
• 5+ years of leadership experience with enterprise programs or cross-functional teams.
• Strong executive presentation and communication experience, with influence leadership.
• Strong financial analysis and business case development capability.
• Strong judgment regarding data privacy, responsible AI, and business risk.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains enterprise AI strategy and multiyear roadmap.
• Establishes AI governance framework and Center of Excellence.
• Creates inventory of AI use cases, tools, models, and vendors.
• Sets evaluation criteria for third party AI vendors and platforms.
• Partners with IT to move pilots into production environments.
