Qualifications

• 7+ years of applied software engineering experience with leadership exposure.
• Hands-on engineering leadership in financial services / Wealth Management is a plus.
• Strong fundamentals; guide architectural decisions, design for reliability and scale.
• Experience with applied AI / generative AI and AI-assisted development tools.
• Proven track record building and scaling engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder influencing skills.
• Ability to recruit and develop talent, and grow regional tech presence.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the site lead for AWM Technology in Atlanta.
• Own local talent strategy: recruit, hire, and build a high-performing engineering team in Atlanta.
• Shape and promote a strong local engineering culture with engineering principles and a builder mindset.
• Foster energy, speed, and accountability in a fast-paced environment.
• Represent the Atlanta site in cross-regional planning and leadership efforts.
• Lead software and data engineering teams delivering production-grade systems for Wealth Management.
• Drive adoption of AI-enabled practices across the engineering lifecycle.
• Set technical direction and review architectural decisions; balance rigor with GenAI possibilities.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to shape requirements and ensure timely delivery.
