Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking an Executive Director to lead the Wealth Management Technology software engineering team in Atlanta. This hands-on leadership role will embed applied AI into how software is built, shipped, and maintained, while recruiting and shaping a thriving local engineering culture.

You will guide architecture, enforce engineering standards, and partner with business and risk teams to deliver strategic initiatives at speed in a secure, scalable environment.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 7+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on engineering leadership in financial services / Wealth Management is a plus.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals—guide architectural decisions and design for reliability and scale.
• Familiarity with applied AI / generative AI and AI-assisted development tools; understand their impact on workflows.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the site lead for AWM Technology in Atlanta, partnering with firmwide site leadership.
• Own local talent strategy: recruit, hire, and build a high-performing engineering team in Atlanta.
• Shape and promote a strong local engineering culture with engineering principles and excellence.
• Foster speed, accountability, and growth; retain top engineering talent in a fast-paced environment.
• Represent the Atlanta site in cross-regional planning and resource coordination.
