Job summary

Texas Capital Bank in Houston seeks an Executive Director, A&D & Technical Advisory to lead reservoir engineering, technical due diligence, and asset valuation across energy transactions.

You will partner with senior bankers and clients, shape technical standards, mentor teams, and drive strategic advisory efforts in a fast-paced environment.

This senior role requires deep industry expertise, strong communication, and a proven track record in both technical analysis and deal execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 15 years in oil and gas reservoir engineering, technical advisory, or related roles.
• At least 5 years combining reservoir engineering and transaction advisory.
• Proficiency with ARIES, PHDWin, ArcGIS/QGIS; strong data and modeling skills.
• Deep knowledge of M&A, valuations, and due diligence processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for upstream oil & gas transactions and valuations.
• Lead reservoir engineering, reserves analysis, and due diligence assignments.
• Develop valuation frameworks and technical standards across the firm.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate cross-functional deal teams.
• Present technical insights to clients, investors, and management.
