Job description

What P4H Needs In An Executive Director

Passion is the driver for the Executive Director of Partnership 4 Hope. The Executive Director needs to be someone who makes a real change in the lives of the youth we serve. Having experience in foster care and social services is a vital requirement to understand the hardships these youth endure.

Ideally, the Executive Director has a background in Education, Social Services, Social Work, or Non-Profit Management. Collaboration is key to Partnership 4 Hope's work, so knowing partner agencies well and working with caseworkers to improve services for youth is essential.

Partnership 4 Hope seeks an Executive Director who oversees divisions and works with paid staff and volunteers at various levels. The role includes managing grant writing, community outreach, and engagement efforts. The Executive Director should actively promote the organization in civic groups, churches, and other agencies to support our programs. Participation in Board meetings and collaboration with the Board of Directors on strategic growth are also required.

Job Description

The core duties include overseeing the four pillars of Partnership 4 Hope: Youth Mart, Truck Brigade, Cole French Educational Support Fund, and Mentoring. The Executive Director manages fundraising, donor relationships, and strategies to secure financial support. Building relationships with stakeholders, partner agencies, and the community to increase visibility and support is vital.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Oversee Youth Mart, Truck Brigade, and Mentoring programs
  • Lead fundraising initiatives to meet organizational financial goals
  • Cultivate and maintain positive donor relationships
  • Implement development strategies to increase revenue
  • Engage stakeholders, partners, and the community
  • Enhance the organization's visibility within the community and beyond
  • Live our Mission to positively impact the youth served
  • Create and oversee the annual organizational budget
  • Monitor programming outcomes to ensure alignment with goals

Qualifications and Skills

  • Leadership experience, preferably in the nonprofit sector
  • Successful track record in fundraising
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to inspire and motivate teams
  • Strategic planning and organizational development skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Social Services, or related field
  • At least five years of professional experience in a nonprofit organization

Compensation and Benefits

  • $85,000 - $95,000 annual salary
  • 2 weeks paid time off
  • $500 monthly health insurance benefit
