  • Plan and organize systems of care, objectives, policies, staffing patterns and staff development.
  • Manage budgets and ensure compliance with laws and standards.
  • Prepare and manage annual functional budgets and steward fiscal resources.
  • Complete required reports and audits in a timely manner.
  • Develop quality standards, clinical excellence, resident safety and staff engagement.
  • Develop metrics on quality and satisfaction and report quarterly.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry changes and communicate with families about resident status.
  • Build relationships and referrals for sales opportunities and monitor local market conditions.

Education

Job description

The Executive Director is responsible for taking all reasonable steps to ensure optimal quality of care is delivered to the residents; responsible and accountable for functions and activities of the entire staff while appropriately integrating these activities with all other departments in the facility that contribute to resident care; plans and organizes systems of care, objectives, policies, procedures, staffing patterns and staff development based on the needs of the facility within the framework of the established budget while maintaining compliance with all applicable laws, and regulatory and organizational standards.

  1. Responsible to the CEO with fully delegated responsibility and authority to carry out the day-to-day assisted living operations.
  2. Preparation and management of annual functional budgets to ensure effective and efficient stewardship of Christian Care fiscal resources.
  3. Completes and submits required reports, including responses to audits and reviews, in a timely manner.
  4. Develops standards of quality, clinical excellence, resident safety, resident satisfaction, and staff engagement for the personal care function.
  5. Develops reporting metrics on quality standards and satisfaction levels and publishes results on a quarterly basis.
  6. Maintains and updates knowledge of prospective changes within the Assisted Living industry both within the Commonwealth of KY and throughout the United States.
  7. Provides on-going and timely communication on resident status with families and/or resident support systems to promote positive and informed relationships.
  8. Establishes outreach and education efforts throughout the community to promote a better understanding of Assisted Living services.
  9. Builds relationships and developsreferrals as akey to success for sales opportunities bykeeping a pulse on local market conditions and potential referral sources toimpact lead generation.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, social work, human services, business administration, public health, or a closely related field from an accredited 4-year college or university
  • Required Experience: 3 years’ proven management experience
  • Preferred Experience: Nonprofit sector;experience in senior living, senior housing, assisted livingand/or personal care, Licensed Nursing Home Administrator
