Executive Director RCFE

Pay Range: $150,000 - $155,000

Ivy Park at Seven Oaks is a premier senior living community in Bakersfield, California, managed by Oakmont Management Group.

Responsibilities

• Manage efficient operations and overall management of day‑to‑day functions of the community in accordance with property policies, current standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Hire, evaluate, coordinate, monitor performance, schedule, and supervise staff in accordance with company policy.
• Achieve and maintain budgeted occupancy and budgetary compliance.
• Represent the property professionally to the community and the Corporation.
• Create a supportive and enjoyable lifestyle for residents.

Qualifications

• Completion of two years of college and at least three years of experience providing residential care to the elderly, or equivalent education and experience approved by the Department of Social Services.
• Valid California Residential Care Facility for the Elderly Certification or Licensed Nursing Home Executive Director.
• Preferably five years of experience supervising and managing employees.
• Proficiency with a personal computer and MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of and/or ability to learn assisted living and dementia care theory and practice.
• Ability to work with seniors and patiently interact with cognitively impaired individuals.
• Flexibility, adaptability, decision‑making in stressful situations, and prioritization of tasks and projects.
• Skill in processing information, following written or oral instructions, and applying common sense.
• Problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to perform moderately complex math, read and understand budgets and financial statements.
• Strong communication skills—explaining ideas in writing and verbally to a wide audience.
• Pass a criminal background check and health screening tests, including physical and TB tests.
• Compliance with COVID‑19 and other communicable disease regulations as required by Oakmont Management Group.
