Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a VP, Data Center Solutions to develop and deploy the market strategy for its Data Center business in North America. You will lead the Data Center strategy, build the business unit, and act as a global thought leader across affiliates.

Expect significant travel and responsibility for integration with acquisitions. You will drive portfolio, general management, and business development activities; manage KPIs, and partner with finance to build strong business cases.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of data center market, customer drivers, and competitive insights.
• Strong leadership, mentoring and people-management abilities.
• Proven track record in growing sales, revenue and operating income.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the Data Center strategy and value proposition for North America.
• Lead organization design, talent development and cross-functional collaboration across acquisitions.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, KPIs, and ROI for Data Center initiatives.
• Drive inorganic growth opportunities including partnerships and potential acquisitions.
• Coordinate with global leadership and external associations to support strategy.
