Job summary

Cybersecurity leader sought by Cinter Career in New York for a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant role. You will guide executive-level advisory engagements, shape security roadmaps, and act as a Virtual CISO across IT modernization programs for global clients.

You will collaborate with U.S. and Japan teams, translate complex risks to boards, and mentor junior staff while aligning with major compliance frames. Onsite in New York, with stiff executive interaction.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional cybersecurity/advisory experience.
• 5+ years in a senior consulting or vCISO capacity.
• Experience leading long-term advisory engagements with executives.
• Business-level Japanese proficiency (reading, writing, speaking).
• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree preferred.
• CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC or equivalent certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-quarter advisory engagements for strategic accounts.
• Develop cybersecurity strategies, governance frameworks, and roadmaps.
• Act as Virtual CISO for organizations without a security executive.
• Define target-state architectures across multiple domains.
• Coordinate with pre-sales, delivery, account management, and success teams.
• Mentor junior consultants and pre-sales engineers.
