West Monroe seeks an M&A Transaction Services Executive CTO Advisor to join its TechEx practice. This leadership role partners with PE firms and C-suite executives to evaluate software businesses during the deal lifecycle and drive value post-close.

You will assess product architecture, AI capabilities, engineering, cloud, and operating models, then translate findings into practical roadmaps and outcomes. Travel 25–50% with a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software engineering, enterprise architecture, or technology advisory with leadership of complex engagements.
• Experience advising PE firms or corporate clients on software due diligence and digital transformation.
• Deep expertise in AI, LLMs, orchestration frameworks, AI governance, and related tech.
• Strong executive communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel 25–50% and work hybrid in US offices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as executive advisor for complex software and AI diligence engagements across deal lifecycle.
• Evaluate architecture, AI capabilities, cloud environments, and operating models for scalability and security.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams delivering integrated assessments and roadmaps.
• Develop board-ready deliverables translating technical findings into business decisions.
• Lead technology implementation programs including platform modernization and data initiatives.
• Apply AI to enhance insights, delivery, and client outcomes.
