Job summary

Denver County Court is hiring a County Court Marshal to enforce court orders, locate fugitives, and provide protective security for judges and officials. This in-person role requires POST certification, firearms/TASER/ARREST qualifications, and readiness to respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of law enforcement experience required.
• POST certification required at time of application.
• Must possess/maintain firearms qualification, TASER, and arrest control certifications.

Responsibilities

• Act as a special police officer with powers for Denver County Court.
• Investigate whereabouts and associates of wanted persons.
• Plan and coordinate arrest operations against fugitives.
• Apprehend fugitives and ensure safety of court personnel.
• Provide executive protection for judicial officers and officials.
• Support law enforcement agencies during emergencies and incidents.
