Summary:
With a solid understanding of the operations, business practices, strategies, and goals of the system this position is responsible for providing executive level support to UNC Health Care System’s Executive Suite (CEO’s/Dean’s Office and/or Executive Office). Position will be responsible for providing leadership to manage effective systems and protocols under the supervision of the Manager Executive Office and serves as the primary interface for the Executive Suite. Position typically works directly with members of Senior Leadership of the Healthcare system/School of Medicine.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast‑paced, highly visible executive environment, managing multiple priorities and competing deadlines while exercising a high degree of discretion and professional judgment. While healthcare experience is a plus, it is not required. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience directly supporting C-suite or senior executive leaders within a medium-to-large organization, particularly those who have managed complex executive calendars, sensitive communications, high‑level meetings, and multiple competing priorities. This position is designated as onsite in Chapel Hill, North Carolina and requires daily onsite presence to effectively support executive leadership and department operations.
