Job summary

CFS is seeking a Controller in Indianapolis, IN to lead all accounting operations, drive budgeting and forecasting, and ensure GAAP-compliant reporting. This high-visibility role offers direct access to executive leadership and a chance to shape strategy, controls, and financial performance.

You will manage month-end close, financial analysis, audits, and mentoring of accounting staff, with a focus on profitability and process improvements. Bachelor’s in accounting/finance and CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA certification preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience including leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations including month-end close, reporting, and compliance.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure strong internal controls and GAAP compliance.
• Partner with leadership on KPIs and performance insights.
• Manage audits, tax coordination, and external financial relationships.
• Develop and mentor accounting staff and improve processes.
