Job summary

Novelis is seeking an Executive Compensation Lead to be the subject matter authority for executive compensation and long-term incentives. This highly visible role sits at the center of strategic governance and compensation decisions, partnering with senior executives, the Compensation Committee, Board, Finance, Legal, HR, and external advisors.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years in dynamic compensation experience.
• Experience supporting executive compensation and equity programs.
• Experience partnering with executives and senior leaders.
• Advanced Excel and data analytics capabilities.
• Ability to build models, reconcile complex data, and identify meaningful insights.
• Strong consulting, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Determine how Novelis rewards performance, retains top leadership talent, aligns executive interests with shareholders, and drives long-term business success.
• As the lead authority on executive compensation, you'll guide the programs, analyses, governance activities, and recommendations that support Novelis' senior leadership population.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, and external advisors on governance, compliance, market practices, and emerging compensation trends.
• Lead annual and off-cycle equity award activities.
• Lead all aspects of grants, vestings, performance units, exercises, payouts, participant eligibility, and sophisticated employee events.
• Translate business results and performance outcomes into accurate participant awards and communications.
