Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Wheeling, WV seeks a mid-level Executive Compensation Associate with 4–5 years of experience in executive and equity compensation, including strategic and private equity M&A transactions. Experience with growth-stage technology and life sciences companies is preferred.

Familiarity with qualified retirement plans, ESOPs, and health and welfare plans is advantageous but not required. A Juris Doctor degree and admission to the State Bar in the office location are required,

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in executive compensation and benefits at a peer law firm.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team while managing individual responsibilities.
• Admission to the State Bar of the office location is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and resolve executive pay and benefits issues during mergers and acquisitions and other corporate deals.
• Draft and advise on equity and cash incentive plans and executive employment agreements.
• Prepare SEC-required compensation and benefits disclosures for securities filings.
