A midsize firm in New York is looking to add an Associate to its executive compensation and employee benefits team! This search is confidential.

• The executive compensation and employee benefits team represents a wide range of individuals and companies of all sizes across various industries such as technology, fashion, real estate, and financial services. By joining this team, you can be assured of a diverse client base in the middle market, which keeps the work dynamic and engaging.
• Participate in the drafting and negotiation of incentive compensation plans, separation and restrictive covenant agreements, and deferred compensation and equity arrangements. Additionally, establish and maintain Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs), conduct 280G analyses, and identify issues under 409A, ERISA, and complex labor laws.
• Collaborate closely with corporate teams to provide advice on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, financing, and leveraged buy-outs. Additionally, assist management teams in negotiating compensation or severance packages.
